Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University (PNU), a higher education centre for women in Riyadh, has established a driving academy on its campus and has started accepting driving instructor applications, a report said.

PNU is the largest university for women in the world.

The driving academy will provide theoretical education and practical training, said the Arab News report.

“We’ve just begun to accept instructors’ registrations through our website,” the general supervisor for media management at the PNU, Amani Al-Hammad, was quoted as saying by Arab News.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s licence and certified trainer’s permit, and be either Saudi or a resident living in the Kingdom, she said.
