Saudi Arabia-based LSC Warehousing and Logistics Services was named '2018 KSA Warehousing Service Provider of the Year' at the 2018 Frost & Sullivan Middle East Best Practices Awards Banquet, held earlier this month, in Dubai, UAE.

LSC Warehousing and Logistics Services provides a comprehensive array of best in class services as a leading warehousing and logistics services provider in the kingdom. Its broad ranging services address client needs across transportation, warehousing, freight management, customs compliance and project logistics solutions.

The company provides customised services to its clients on a need basis and tailored to specifications that enhance the widest possible range of business models and profiles, it said.

Gopal R, global vice president, transportation and logistics practice, Frost & Sullivan, said: “2017 has been a very successful year for us. We have expanded to add an additional 100,000 sq m in warehouse capacity and experienced a revenue growth of 20 per cent.”

The company has 11 warehouses and three open yards operational in Saudi Arabia with a total warehousing space of 196,600 sq m, it said.

LSC Warehousing and Logistics Services Co has invested in a wide range of technologies in material handling equipment and warehouse infrastructure, robotics, palletisers, pick and place equipment.

The warehousing and distribution wing undertakes packing, crating and removals and also includes customs clearance and door to door services.
